  1. Hmm, I'd like to say True... but by using less fuel/energy, you're helping the environment so False also.

  2. false it is not about whether or not you can afford it

its about ,if the Environment ,our Natural resources ,the country ,the world ,can afford it

with more and more people the stress is on the resources ,not the finance of individuals

  3. true you dont have to worry about prices. Most people who conserve fuel are environmentalists not poor.

  4. Artistagent116 has hit the spot. My answer would be false.

The whole point is, if EVERYBODY practiced conservation, then conservation there would be!

To all the "pigs" that believe if they can "afford" (financially) to use more resources than others, wake up! It will take a united effort to reign in excessive resource usage- and the pollution it causes.

The world as a whole needs you to do your bit for the common good of the future world. Come on, conserve the resources!

  5. False. its just better to conserve energy even if you could afford it, because you just never know.

  6. False.

Other than saving a lot of money every year, conserving fuel and energy can:

Reduce the running costs of energy and water usage

Maximise the efficient use of energy and water

Minimise associated pollution at end use and by source

Optimise the use of space and equipment

Ensure best value, (balancing economy, efficiency, effectiveness and quality)

    Avoid waste

    Improve water quality standards

Encourage biodiversity in open spaces through quality management

So remember, less energy consumption equals less pollution, which reduces the impact of global warming. If we all contribute, the world will be a happier, cleaner place!

  7. The answer is 'false'. There is a need to conserve fuel or  energy for more reasons than the expense of paying for them.

Our Earth's resources are not endless, we will run out some day.

Now, here's my question to you readers: Why should I be conservative at home and at work by turning off lights when I'm not using them, etc. when I notice that there is a BLATANT disregard for energy conservation in other places.....have you ever been to a professional sporting event?? Ever noticed how many thousands and thousands of lights are on in the stadium? Ever been to Las Vegas on the strip? Times Square in NYC?

Why does the burden of conservation fall on us little guys?

BTW - I do conserve engery at home and at work....I am simply asking the question.

  8. False.

The reason for conserving fuel has to do with the environment.  The more we use, the more we pollute the air and water.  Do you care about having clean air to breath and clean water to drink?  What about global warming, or are you one of the people who think that's just something someone made up?

Also, in many areas, the power companies are strained to keep up with the demand at peak hours of usage.  When they can't keep up, a blackout can be the result.  Whether or not you can afford it, it's not going to matter then!

  9. True.

Statistically, it will all balance out.

  10. hi! my name is bio hazard.

i say that it is better to conserve fuel even if you can offord it because, if you can offord, or if you can't it would be exhausted one day.

so i suggest that it is better to conserve fuel even if you can

    offord it

  11. If you dont use it someone else will.

Law of supply and demand, we will never run out of fuel, but it will become too expensive for most people to afford and alternatives will have to be used.

  12. FALSE.

  13. Lets state that another way. The people who can easily afford energy should not conserve energy. Well lets take a look at where we are. We are on earth. The nearest known oil reserve that is not on the earth is where? Now lets take a back at the original questions. The question stated another way says that why can't well to do people use up all of our energy as fast as they can. Bottom line is that wasting  limited resources does not make any sense.

  14. drill oil then you could afford it. true

  15. If there was a multi-trillion dollar man, and he decided to buy up all the oil in all the world and then just light it all on fire because he wanted to - because he could afford it. . .I guess it is a matter of your personal morals/ethics.

If it was legal for the man to burn up all of the oil, does that make it right or wrong?  Well according to the constitution it is neither right or wrong.  Do you think the environment would react?  Yes, it would react by destroying the problem.
