  1. it's not saying kill the thing it's saying you hold the choice

i personally think the government is too involved in the matter anyway, it's not for them to decide

  2. D) None of the above.

  3. False.

The abortion issue is way too complicated to be boiled down to either "abortion is murder"  or "my body, my choice."

I hate it when either side tries to minimize or trivialize the complexity of this issue with a "pro-death" or "anti-choice" tactic.

  4. Yes, pro-abortion.  That's why they changed the label.  Even they're embarrassed for what they support.  They're trying to soften it.

  5. False. If you don't want an abortion, don't get one.

  6. Exactly!

  7. I find it funny that the same people who think it is ok to abort your 2 year-old kid for stem cell research are the same people who are scared to death that a deer might trip over an oil pipe in Alaska or that a whale might just see an oil rig in the ocean.... hmmmm.

While I'm on the subject, don't you also find it a little hypocritical that democrats are the only group who are happy about high gas prices, when the very people they claim to care about and want to help with social programs and healthcare are the same people who are really suffering the most from high prices by having to choose between putting gas in their car or putting food on the table.

  8. No, it's a nice way of saying "it's your body and you have the right".

  9. ummmmm.... no.......

I am pro choice, but I believe abortion is almost always wrong

therefore I am not pro abortion, but I believe the woman has a CHOICE therefore I am pro CHOICE

  10. Sure, in the same way that pro-life is a nice way of saying pro-fascism.

  11. False.  :"Pro-Life" is a nice way of saying "Pro-Death."

  12. If it's "your body" how come it doesn't have "your DNA"?

  13. Like the first answerer said, why do people step on ants for the fun of it. A baby in the first stages of pregnancy is really nothing more than a small collection of cells. Where do u draw the line? besides abortion helps natural selection do what it's suppose to do. Otherwise we would have another 20 million retarded people and/or criminals on the streets.

  14. False.

Trying to claim that you are "pro-life" is just a cover for the fact that a person is anti-CHOICE (but only for women, never for themselves)

  15. Obviously, considering they fight for the right to snuff the life out of babies. The funny part is when they call Pro Lifers wacky! Imagine trying to convince your date that you are normal because you like killing defenseless babies?

  16. False. I'm pro-choice but I'm not pro-abortion or pro-death.

  17. As long as people are able  to rationalize that life doesn't start at conception, an abortion is just a form of late birth control.

Where do you draw  thie line?

How late do we want to do "late term abortions?" I think some might want to extend it into the teen years!

  18. true or false"  Pro Life is it jut a nice way of saying, s***w'em once they are born.   Don't give them health care,  don't care if they are educated,  don't care if they have clean water and air,   Send them off to war.

  19. Okay,explain to me how pro-choice is pro-death?

Many of us pro-choicers feel that abortion is an important option to have, and it should be safe, rare, and legal.I for one feel that way. That doesn't mean that you should use it every time you have an unwanted pregnancy

Let me explain to you what I mean by pro-choice.If a woman gets raped and wants to have an abortion, that's her choice. If she wants to put the baby up for adoption, that's her choice. If she wants to keep it and raise it,that's her choice

Do you freaking get it now?

Just because you're pro-life doesn't give you the right to mischaracterize the other side. Use your brains will you

  20. False.  It is a way of saying pro choice.

  21. Absolutely True!  Good question!

Rico -   which is a nice way of saying "it's your body so feel free to kill the innocent baby that lives there."

Badjuju - so are you actually comparing a plant to a human being?  Haven't read the Bible much, huh?  It's people like you that will eventually nominate a hibiscus for President!

  22. True or False: Pro-Life is just a better way of saying anti-choice?

Edit: I think this is a really interesting discussion.  I think what Why Not? means is that if a parent wants to have an abortion it is blatantly obvious that the child is unwanted, right?  So if abortion is outlawed, then all these children that the parents don't want are born,  not many of those children would get the tender loving home that children should.  Plus, take the example of a woman who gets raped and gets pregnant.  She has to live her life looking at her own child that, even if she loves him/her to death, will constantly be a reminder of that horrifying experience.

Also, your translation of pro-choice to pro-abortion wrong.  It's like saying support for freedom of speech immediately translates to hating the government.  I believe in a woman's right to choose, but I don't think I'd ever have an abortion.

  23. Obama and Bidden are both Pro-Death.

  24. "Pro-Choice" is just a nice way of saying. The murder of premature babies.

  25. false

  26. no way.  the majority of pro-choice people are pro-life.  They just don't fall under pro-imposing your will upon others.

  27. TRUE.

  28. True, it's really just a euphemism for "Pro Abortion."

  29. False.    It depends on how you define "life".  Scientists say plants are alive, so are we all pro-death when we eat?  Animals are alive, so are all meat eaters pro-death?  Roe v Wade defines human life as beginning when it can live outside it's mother's womb on it's own.

Like it or not, we don't live in a black/white world.

Edit in response: Since scientists and judges seem to weigh on the side of "pro-death" in your black/white terms, let's take it to a moral place:   If the only thing that separates human life from other lifeforms is the human soul, considering that most world religions (including the bible) state the human soul enters the body on it's first "breath', then sorry -- a fetus is no different than a big mac.  Cheers.

  30. Ummm...true. (You needed to ask this???)

  31. Say whatever you feel, abortion ain't going away!
