  1. No!

  2. There are several videos on YouTube of people with 3 or 4 cell phones doing this, and it working. They appear to be real.

My friends and I tried it with 4 cellphones; we even had them facing North, East, South, and West, like a compass. It didn't work, though.

We also tried different calling configurations, still, to no avail.

  3. Totally false.

A microwave oven able to pop a kernel is 750 watt (or more) and it focus its energy to the center. A cell phone is 250 milliwatt, 3000 times less, and its send its energy all over the place (as it cannot know which direction the cell phone base antenna is located). Not enough power (by far) and not focused power means a cell phone has no hope of ever popping a kernel. Besides, a cell phone probably does not have the right microwave frequency.
