I am getting a computer and just want to use it to play games and nothing else. If I get the disc to install the games I am being told I have to be on the internet to install them but then I don't have to be on the net to play them. Is this something for all of the discs made, something specific for one company or can I just install any disc game on the computer and not have to be on the internet?

  1. Well all my really old games do not require internet to install. I think some games made now days may require it, but it really depends on that particular game.

  2. The regester the game you would need to be online, otherwsie you can just call it in. However sometime have an internet connection for the game is a good ides, as patches and fixes for games are always being updated.

  3. I think that's only an issue with Valve, but I couldn't rule it out.

  4. Read the box; it says how much ram and drivespace the game needs AND whether it needs an Internet connection.
