  1. NOOOOOOOOOO! its false

  2. false. One guy was hit seven time.

Some do die, but many don't

  3. false!

    haha i've been struck once.

    lol.

it was quite...interesting,,,,to say the least.

  4. False.  The golfer "Lee Trevino" has been struck & still plays golf.  However, burns and other injuries can be inevitable.  Although I have not been struck by lightning, I have been "shocked" by many thousand volts of electricity & I am still here typing to you, sans 1 burned finger.  Yes, this is true.

The safest place from lightning is in a car & NOT from the rubber in the tires.  The reason is what is called a Faraday cage.  The metal from which the car is made, acts like a bubble of sorts.  The lightning travels along the outside of the metal "bubble".

  5. it depends..my neighbor was hit by a lightning...he was rushed to the hospital,,,then he was ok.....i think it depends on how strong the voltage of the lightning is....

  6. False, many people live through lightning strikes, but obviously some die.

  7. False.  People who are hit by lightning and survive will likely be struck again in their lifetime.

  8. Since there are people who have been struck by lightning on more than one occasion, the answer is False.

  9. Obviously false.  According to this source, only 20% of people who are struck by lightning are killed instantly.

  10. Depends on where they are hit.

  11. Definitely false.

  12. False because people have been known to live.  It depends on many external factors such as if the person was wet, wearing metal shoes...many things

  13. false

  14. It is possible that you can die instantly, but most often people survive being struck by lightning

  15. False.

  16. Absolutely false.  While being struck by lightning is usually fatal, it is not an automatic death sentence by any means.  http://www.lightningsafety.noaa.gov/surv...

  17. It varies....some die instantly, some live through it, some live a while and die at the hospital, some live but are never the same.
