  1. hahah noooo. they're just set up the best way in the area they're in.

  2. Im pretty sure its impossible for all tennis courts to point north south, but i checked google earth and all the grand slam courts (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and U.S. Open) are North-South so maybe professional venues are required to be North-South

  3. I guess it's possible, but I think that it's highly unlikely.  It might have something to do with the sun and that it rises in the east and sets in the west, so that the sun is never in the players eyes.

  4. not sure if its true, but it would make sense, that way the sun in never directly in someones eye.

  5. no. the ones here in seminole go all different ways!

  6. Nope.  Click here -> http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&ge...   and see for yourself :)

  7. False. I've been at a site where there were tennis courts perpendicular to each other

  8. Maybe for the pros. The courts where i play are like that, but they use the freakiest lights at nights.
