Trumpet question!?

Hi,

I need a trumpet valve guard for my trumpet which ones are good? Are the Bach one's good? I also saw one made from Leather Specialties Company. Those are very expensive but are they trustable?

Leather Specialties is a very reputable company with excellent quality products. They were developed by musicians for musicians. I think that says a lot!

I have the standard trumpet valve guards and a few of the single laced mouthpiece pouches (which I really like!). The leather used is about as thick as it can be. It offers good comfort, durability, and excellent protection for your instrument or accessories.  

A very good friend of mine has a highly acidic body and skin chemistry. The perspiration from his hands can eat through silver plating fairly quickly... just a little over a year. I recommended that he buy the Deluxe #1 Valve Guard, and he has been very pleased with it.
