  1. Well........

~ Every time you walk by their cage talk to them in a soothing voice.

~Always have a hide/house in the cage, this helps them feel safer!

~When you hold them, pet their head/cheek in a rotating motion very slow and softly, this is also soothing!

  2. Hold them and pet them and they will get use to you.

  3. Food always helps, but mostly all you have to do is give them love and trust in return. Give them about a week, then let the run around your room. (Under supervision.) Give then here favorite treats, pet them, hold them a lot. Like I said, give them a week or so just to adjust to being in a new setting. Hold them a little in that time but not much. Good luck!

  4. well its always great to start off with a baby guinea pigs. make sure you give it alot of attention and love. their most likely to get along with humans since they are growing up getting use to it.

  5. guinea pigs are delightful little creatures, just give them plenty of love, gentle handling and lots of talking to everyday, they will reward you by whistling as you approach their cage, my neighbor has had 2 from babies (5year old now) and during the day they are free to roam in the garden, when he gets home from work they run and wait at the gate for him to come and pet them, if he doesn't come straight away they call him with their whistling noise, they are so cute and much loved, enjoy your pets. lol

  6. I would say to keep it alone for first two nights to explore it's new home, then start holding them and hand feeding them treats
