  1. Be partners with her. If you are really good and she is really bad you will look better in front of the coach. Its a win win situations. Good Luck!!!!!!

  2. Try to find somebody else before she comes 2 u

  3. i tried out for volleyball and made it... all you have to do is find someone who was on the team last year who is your friend and tell your friend who isnt to good that you already found a partner and promise to partner with her on something else!!

good luck... i hope you make it!!

  4. Don't you think she knows that she sucks at volleyball and that maybe she just wants to try out to be with you?

And don't you think the coaches have enough brains to tell who is good and who isn't regardless of the play?

I would partner with her IF she brings it up only and then trust the coaches to be able to do their job.

  5. by passing with a person who isn't as skilled, you challenge yourself to play even harder and make more impossible plays, possible.  Like my coach says "for every bad pass or contact, the person after must be that much more perfect"  like if i make a bad pass, the setter has to pull of the most perfect save and set it beautfully.  or if the setter makes a bad set, the hitter must adjust and still make the ball over the net.  so if you pass with your friend, and she shanks the ball (passes it way over somewhere where you aren't), then you have to hustle and try to keep the ball alive AND make sure the ball goes right back to her.  coaches notice that.  they will take a player with skill AND hustle over a player more skilled but just friggin' lazy anyday.  so, if you have mad hustle, then make yourself stand out by NOT becoming frustrated, having fun, adn playing your heart out.  MOST of all, when you try out, play like it MATTERS how you perform, and have fun doing it.  coaches also like a player who gets the team's energy up.

  6. just tell her that you already promised someone else to be their partner...if your friend freaks out about that...you shouldnt be friends!

  7. Honestly!

You start lying to her now..You' ll end up divorced.

If you sucks..she sucks..She can't be good at everything.

I played four years on my varsity team and won the CSI championships all four years.. Can I play??
