Try-outs for a sport?

I am trying out for field hockey on the 18th and there is a great possibility that I will have to run 2 miles...I did a summer camp for field hockey so I am in okay shape but I want to start running so that I can run the two miles if needed. What is the best way to get into shape for running?

  1. Lol by running. Just so you know guys dont like girls who play sports. Im serious. lol


  2. just practice running

    pace yourself and while you run make a breathing pattern for yourself[like count to 3 and take a big breath, it helped me]
