In Germany if you know the city in which they live there is an office in each city where you can find ppl otherwise advertise in paper....:)

For a search for a person in Germany, go to http://www.telefonbuch.de (also in English) and for a search in Ethiopia, I would advice you to contact the Embassy of Ethiopia, maybe they might help you.

And enter their name. If they don't have an unlisted number, you'll find them.
