Trying, but not loosing the fun

Question

Okay so my husband and I have a 31/2 month old little boy, he is terrific and so great to have around especially when my husband is deployed, he keeps me laughing.

Anyways, we more recently got pregnant again and were surprised, but got really exited over #2 and having them so close together. Unfortunately, we had a miscarriage. Chemical pregnancy.

We of course got sad for a while they flew him back from the field for a few days and lately we've decided that even though that one wasn't planned, we really would like to have a close knit little family and well,

Lets go again. :-)

He still wont be back for another month, but i know we both want to try and now im trying to think of all kinds of ways we can make it fun. I dont want to loose the fun we have.

Any ideas from you all?

i put all candles around the bedroom( only lil tea-lights) done my hair and make up and dressed up in some nice nightwear and waited for my partner to come home, I'm hoping it done the trick, am now in 2ww so fingers crossed.

maybe just pounce at an unusual time, the surprise is always going to be fun Lol xxxxxx jus be carefull he doesn't think your an intruder and punch you in the head lol joking....wish u all the best ttc xxxx

My husband and I have been ttc for 5 months now and I was just thinking the same thing, how can we keep it fun? My husband works second shift and I was thinking about having the following waiting one night when he got home, but you can have this waiting when your husband gets back. I was going to have something real romantic set up in the bedroom (ie candles roses etc.) and I am going to wait there in something s**y. Before he gets home I am going to set up a "treasure" hunt sort of thing where he will pick up clues on the way to the bedroom beginning in the living room where he will come in first. In the clues I plan to send him to different places where he can pick up items that will make the experience more fun (ie the kitchen to get some whipped cream). All the clues will eventually lead him back to our bedroom where I will be waiting. Sorry if this is TMI but I thought it was cute. You know your husband best, you can take this and put your own special twist on it as a way to keep the baby making fun. I hope you enjoy whatever you decide to do!

If you think you want something romantic why not do it for yourself, go buy candles, roses, nice lingerie or whatever else you want and surprise your husbnad.  He's been gone for a while and maybe he will enjoy the effort you went to and maybe he will surprise you next time with something new.  Good luck with your babies, I would love a close family too, I think we finally got pregnant with our first, very excited.
