To make this as short and simple as possible. I don't have regular periods at all. My fertility specialiest has put me on Provera and Clomid. I start my Provera in the morning, then he said on the 3rd day of my period to start the clomid. 21rst day go get my levels checked. So, how does this work exactly? Meaning, Do I need to start charting my basal temp. in the morning before I take the Provera? Then everyday after that? When should I take a Pregnancy Test? Will a fluid Pill interfer with the Provera and Clomid? I would greatly appreciate the help as soon as possible. This is very important to me and my husband! Thank you so much ahead of time!! God Bless!!

  1. I didn't have regular periods at all either. The basal body temperature never made any sense to me. I tried clomid for two months. I got pregnant the second month only to misscarry. I gave up on trying what the doctors said would work and asked God to intervene. And now I am almost 22 weeks and going strong. Clomid and Provera helped a friend of mine concieve and everything went fine for her. She didn't do the temperatures. You should ask your doctor about the fluid pill. You don't want to be taking medicines that are not absolutly needed during pregnancy. When your period is late, wait about two weeks since they are not normal. Although the medicine  will help to regulate your periods. If your are going to chart your temperature that should be done when you first wake up and before you get out of bed. Chart everyday. Good luck. I hope it happens for you soon.

  2. Ok start charting your temp on day 1 of your cycle (the first day that you start to bleed) My friend was on Clomid and she would ovulate about 9 days after she took her last pill. I think that you should use ovulation predictor tests every day right after you take your last clomid since you dont have any idea when you will ovulate on the clomid. Between the OPK's and temp charting you will be able to figure if and when you ovulate. The earliest that you can take a pregnancy test is 10 days past ovulation, but to avoid misleading results you should probably wait until 14 days past ovulation (which is about the time that your period is due)

I would not take the fluid pill while ttc or while pregnant.
