Trying again.... Yorkshire pudd question.....

Question

What i the most unusual filling you have seen someone have with a Yorkshire Pudding? My Auntie has been known to eat strawberries and cream with hers!

Earlier on today I asked this question but recieved a violation for it dont know why! Happy Yorkshire Day everyone!

I like strawberry Jam on them! It's the same mixture as pancakes practically, just baked rather than fried. Try it!

Just the normal roast beef or chicken and lots of gravy.

It's only a batter mix, so you can do sweet or savoury with it as you please. It's a trendy thing to do non-traditional ideas with traditional foods.  If I had to think of something a bit different, I'd probably go for ice cream and maple syrup or butterscotch sauce.

I suppose it would be nice to have it as a sweet. As long as when making the recipe a pinch of sugar ias added instead of salt!

I initially thought yuk but when you think about it its only pancake mix!

I really love my puds with mint and gravy! not very experimental.

ive had peaches and cream with mine they are quiet delicious with either sweet or savoury fillings

i buy the mini ones and fill them as you would vol-au-vents with chicken n mushroom or chicken tikka,mince beef or tuna sweetcorn mmmm they're yummy.

my mother always made the crispy ones , i prefer them to the doughy ones, after eating them with the roast , any left overs i put sugar on to eat, after all its just a pancake batter and i always like them with lemon and sugar on

Ha ha, your question was in violation, because stuffing Yorkshire Pudding with Strawberries n' Cream is just wrong!!!

Only ever stuffed em with Roast Beef.....now I'm hungry, is it ok to make some for breakfast???
