Trying on panties before buying them?

Today, my friend and I went to Victoria's Secret so my friend can look for some new panties to buy. Here's the thing, she usually wears a skirt with no panties when shopping for panties. She doesn't really want to go to the fitting room to try the panties on, because usually the fitting room gets full, so what she would do is try them on right on the spot in front of everybody to see if they fit nicely and feel comfortable. I saw the whole thing and we were having a conversation during the whole thing. I thought "That is a bit weird for my friend to be doing this, but oh well". She tried on 5 of those panties, only 3 fit her perfect, she put the rest away, and talked to me perfectly like if nothing happened at all. Does everyone even do this or what? Because usually I know my size and I feel the panties to see if they might feel good on me or not, I never tried them on. I already knew it was going to fit me. Is this appropriate? Should I start doing this?

That is not good at all,would you want to buy some panties that someone only God knows who,tried them on?I dont think so.You will be got something you cant get rid of.

No, I don't think it is appropriate. I would be grossed out if I saw someone trying panties on in the middle of the store. If I need to try a pair on, I'll go into the dressing room and try them on over an existing pair of my own just to be sanitary.

No. You shouldn't try on underwear because you could get some sort of infection or disease from other people that have tried on the same panties. I think that is pretty disgusting. I don't think anyone should be doing that because it's not good for your health.

Wow, how gross. If your friend has a disease and her vaginal discharge got on those panties, she risked who ever bought those.

Underwear you try on have a lining on the crotch that is replaced for each person.

What your friend did is gross and unsanitary.

Do not do this!

If you do, try it on OVER your underwear to reduce risk of infectious disease. Do as I do, wash your underwear after buying them.

That is utterly gross! As a friend it's ur responsibility to enlighten and advise ur friend. To please NOT do it anymore. Ask ur friend, how SHE would feel if the panties she buys has been tried on by someone else already. I am very surprised no one reported her in the store or that the reps never noticed? That is completely inappropriate, disgusting, and unsanitary.  Do you want to buy a pair of underwear that someone else has tried on?  Do you do realize that STDs, yeast infections, etc can be passed from one person to another this way?  Keep in mind, we have health laws for a reason and many states prohibit people from trying on bathing suit bottoms, panties, lingerie, etc without already wearing proper undergarments.

thats so gross. I never try on panties. you should know your size and yep i do get some home and i don't like the way they look on me. If i am really unsure i would try them on over my panties. Tell your friend does they ever wonder how many people try on those panties before her?

EWW...that is so gross.  No, you should not start doing this.  You can get crabs, yeast infections, and all kinds of nasty stuff from doing that.  I've never understood why people would do this.  Yuck.
