Trying out for disney?

I am going to take some vocal lessons, acting lessons.

Is there any advice about auditions or just singing and acting?

to be honest disney is a very hard company to get with, however once you are with disney, its hard to get out.  look at vanessa hudgens, nude modeling and even she can't get out of her contract.  disney will steal alot of the money you make as well.

that aside, you will probably need a lot of vocal lessons, and better than acting lessons is to simply get out and act.  be in aas many plays and productions as you can.  a young daughter of one of my parents freinds (long connection i know) was on the soundtrack for camp rock, some new disney movie, and shes among the greatest singers i know, however all she had was a backup part.  she wasnt even in the movie.  she also got paid 80 dollars for nearly 10 hours in studio.  thats ridiculous if you ask me, and exploiting children.  anyhow, if you can meet anyone who works at disney, that is often a help as well.  connections always help in entertainment
