Trying out for volleyball and I need some tips.?

I was wondering if anybody had any tips, advice, hints, it would be greatly appreciated. Any tips to help me impress coaches, make them believe I really want to make it. And that I will want to help the team out. Any past volleyball players advice, coaches, anyone will do!(:

well to impress the coach dont show off, and dont always be all over the court, volleyball is a team sport so you have to share the ball.coaches see potential and if you show them taht you have potential to be a great volleyball player, then you'll make the team.just always try your besat and never give up. and if you dont make the team jopin a rec team so u can get better and maybe next year you'll make the team.practice makes perfect, so if you make maneger always practice on the side lines bump or serve against the wall so your arm will get stronger.just always practice. good luck. hope u make it

make sure you're bumps are high and you're sets are high. coaches like girls who can get the ball high up so you're teamates have time to get to the ball and help you out. call the ball. yell mine or " i got it" something along those lines should be good. make sure you're serving is strong and consistent. coaches want girls who can get them points in a game. even if you dont like a poisition play every one well and the one you like even better. make your spike hard and tip it over so it makes it harder for the other team /just give it your all =]

make sure u come on time with appropriate gear.

knee pads water bottle shoes the works.

try your best and show off your skills. but also remember you are a team player. if another person calls it dont dive after it. share the court and the glory. HAVE FUN
