I use to work for a private Investigation Company years ago. I only worked for 6 to 12 mo then most everyone got laid off. I am now trying to get back into the P.I. field but I need Proof of the hours I worked in related field and I can not find them or anything about them anywhere. They were located in Bernardino Ca. I have already tried all the BBB and Liscencing sights here. I thought maybe I could get it through the IRS or something somehow sinse I did have to file taxes then. and No I can not find my copies of my income tax papers from then. Any suggestions???

  1. I assume you remember what city and possibly what area the PI firm was located.  If so call the ones that still exist in that area.  They might remember who they were.

Also, you can get public records of property that was rented or bought dating back years.  Maybe call public records (usually the court house in that county) and give them the address.  They might be able to look it up for you.
