  1. at first you become a vegetarian reading up as you go along finding what

meat items and products that contain animal byproducts. start out in small stems and just do a lot of reading . when you come to understand and are comfortable then you can start on step number two.

  2. I was 16 when I became a vegetarian, and I guess just start limiting your meat consumption, and maybe substitute with meatless products (veggie burgers, chik'n nuggets, etc) and tofu is really good, if you like it. I just stopped eating meat right away, and I didn't have any trouble with it.

I haven't lost any weight being vegetarian, in fact I think I've only gained since then... it's rather annoying, but there are a lot of carbohydrates in cereals, breads, potato, etc... so if you're looking to lose weight maybe stay away from those.

My friend was vegan for a while and she said that it wasn't so great, she bruised really easily and stuff... now she's a vegetarian. I'm not sure if she wasn't eating healthy enough, but being vegan really limits your nutrition.

Good luck though! There are lots of yummy vegetarian recipes that you can try! (I love cooking with tofu and vegetables... mm)

  4. I know this website that has great vegetarian recipes, and all of them are really healthy. Actually eating healthy does not mean you will loose weight, you can actually just maintain your weight by eating one more meal a day...maybe something like a salad....the website is www.recipematcher.com
