There are so many out there. Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm looking for a 40 inch or so...

Is LCDs or plasmas better? What about contrast ratio, etc?

Thanks for all your help!

Is there a website that would help me out too?

  1. Get a LCD, it is much more better than a plasma. Dont worry about contrast ratio.

  2. Plasmas are best for individuals who generally watch TV in a darkened room because the glass screen is reflective and may cause glare from windows and light sources.

LCDs work best for the rest of us and are lighter weight for the same size.

Contrast ratio and speed are more important specs. than pixels.

Best-buy.com has specs. and information on many models.

Google it dude. Type "plasma or LCD" and you will get tons of resources!!!
