I have been looking into buying a flat in London somewhere, but i'm confused about how the pricing is listed.

For example: 20,000 Euros PW

What i cant figure out is what PW means????

  1. When looking at properties the term 'pw' usually means 'per week'.  However, that only only applies to renting properties, ie. it's how much you pay per week.  I think maybe you've been looking on websites which deal with lettings rather than sales.

Also, are you sure you've been looking on websites which deal with properties in London?  It's just we don't use the Euro over but rather the British pound.  Plus, whilst London is incredibly expensive, £20,000 a week is a h**l of a lot more than you'd expect to pay when renting a property (!) and £20,000 won't buy you anything in London (a one bed flat will cost around £200,000)!
