Trying to buy a new guitar?

Question

i just want a nice guitar that can handle playing anything. I'm in several bands that plays stuff from as soft as the spill canvas to as crazy and technical as the fall of troy to as hard as avenged sevenfold. I have a GT-Pro guitar effects processor, and its amazing. I just want to get some ideas of some brands that are good but aren't really heard of so much. I don't want another Gibson Les Paul or Fender strat., those guitars are too overused. I want a guitar thats not gonna cost more that 450 but will give me the quality i like. I was looking at some of the ESP/LTD's and some PRS models but i want to know of a very nice guitar company that i may have never heard of. If you know of any, help me out, thank you soo much.

No offense, but that's the stupidest thing I've heard someone say here in a long time.  Fenders and Les Pauls are popular because they're great, versatile guitars.

Sounds like sour grapes to me; you can only afford to spend $450 which will not even buy you an American made guitar.  The PRS models you're looking aren't the real ones, just the cheap Asian models.  Real PRS guitars - which are fantastic, by the way - cost several thousand dollars.  Are you sure they aren't "overused" too?
