Trying to call Ukraine..need help..?

I know I have the right number but I don't know if it's ringing or if the line is busy since the tones are different that the USA. When I call I get beeps with a 1 second pause in between each beep. Does that mean it's ringing or busy?

Keep trying... you might get it! I've lived there for quite some time, and each time i wish to call my friends its a mission and a half! And i do get the same sounds as you: each time I hang up after about a minute and re-dial again...
