Trying to close our refinance, but every day they ask for something new!!! ?

when will it be over!? when will they just stop asking us for stuff! they keep asking for the most random things... today they asked me to send additional pictures of the house, because the appraiser didn't "send enough." every day i tell the broker that i'm working with that it seems like they throw something different at me every day, and every day he tells me not to worry, that he should have the clear to close soon... they already have our w2's, tax returns, appraisal, bills to be paid off (accounts and numbers), assets, liabilities, current verifications of employment, everything... what more could they cook up for us to give, and how much longer until we close!!!?!

Did I ask for your first born yet?  We underwriter's get paid by the condition.  Sorry, bad joke.

I'm not sure why the underwriter would ask a borrower for add'l pic's, that's the appraiser's job.  Call the underwriter's manager and ask what's the problem, don't go through your loan officer.

Think your going to have to run the course on this one. With the credit market the way it is, companies are taking extra messures to approve loans. Hopefully you make it through, but keep talking to your people to see if you can get a better read on what is going on.

YOur loan has been rejected.  They will not give you the bad news.  They will keep asking for one more piece of paper until you get mad and go somewhere else.  

They just refuse to deliver bad news.   YOu need to get to another company and ask them if you are going to be rejected.  You may be amazed when the next one says that you can't get a loan. /
