Trying to conceive with a disability?

okay well my husband nd i have been talking about trying to conceive...i was born with cerebral palsy and it affects my walking...i can walk without the assistance of a walker or cane...or any other device,my CP hasnt affected me an any other way....i turned 18 in november nd i started the process of having my ssi switch into my name,well they make you under go something like a physical and after i did that they say i wasnt disabled and cut off my ssi as well as my insureance...finacially that wasnt a problem but i needed the insurence....my husband and i decided to ttc and i cant get an professional out look on if CP affect fertility in women....do any of you have an idea if it does or not?? i have a regular period every month....and i know i ovulate..but still no luck

  1. Do you take any daily medication? That could effect you. Also you should probably ask a fertility dr there may be some other risk involved that you are unaware of. Not that it would stop you, but it may delay you getting pregnant.
