I was just curious a few days ago and plugged the JVC camera into our computer using a USB cord and it worked just fine..today when i tried after making a movie I plugged it in...this time nothing comes up on my computer and the screen on the actual camera says USB MASS STORAGE

i tried deleting some videos and it won't work... i asked this Q before and the advice I got was good but didn't work..

they said to try it again and unplug it and stuff

PLEASE help because I want to edit a video but it has to actually connect with my computer first! (the video camera)

please talk in simple term if possible! im not good with all this....only when i get lucky :)

lol

thanks!

  1. what i did with one of my usb devices was to go to Start - Settings - control panel then advanced tab - device manager locate the device mass storage uninstall the driver for the device which is your camera then restart PC

plug the camera in use your CD of camcorder or if you have updated drivers use those when prompted to do so where they are located.

once windows confirms successfully installed device and ready to use it should work fine again.  also make sure you use the same usb port that u installed it on sometimes that makes a difference good luck.

  2. try taking the battery's out and replacing them and put them back in. power on then off then connect the camera then turn the camera back on it could be

also that you used up all the cameras space you should back up the files on your computer

  3. I know this answer sucks but...
