it's usually just .ie to be honest, we don't use the .com.xx or .co.xx over here. For example for someone working in RTÉ (the Irish public broadcaster) the e-mail address is [e-mail].

if you know where they work then that'll help because most companies follow that kind of naming convention on the e-mails... course if they work for a multinational or if they just have a free e-mail account like gmail or yahoo then it could be anything... the Irish yahoo e-mail is yahoo.ie though, even though the website is ie.yahoo.com...
