Question:

Trying to cook healthy.. need some suggestions?

when cooking something like banana nut bread what is the best kind of flour to use? I'm doing the whole sugar free thing and i have sweetener i just have no clue! anyone have any good recipes for sugar free healthy foods? thanks to all in advance!!!

  2. The flour you use should be whole grain.  It has a lower glycemic index.  As for your sweetener I highly suggest Stevia.  Some people will also cut the amount of butter or oil they have to use by replacing it with apple sauce which also adds a little sweetness.

    As for Splenda, I'm not a chemical engineer but my Uncle is.  After reviewing the process for making Splenda he concluded that it's similar to processes for making pesticides.  At this point what I said is just propaganda.  I have only his word to take on it but I thought it might be worth mentioning.
