Trying to create a cup...?

So i want to design a cup with a quote and some few designs on it.

I just wanted to know, to you arts and crafts people out there, what's the best way of drawing and writing stuff on a cup that would stay...like permanently?

i was thinking permanent markers, like colored sharpies, but i was wondering if there was anything better/longer lasting then that. And i'm not wasting money on ink printing. this is strictly arts and crafts

Folk Art Enamel Paint works very well. The bottle has a "E" on the top. You can either let it dry for 21 days or bake it in your over for a short time . Good Luck ;)))
