Trying to decide between two tvs?

im trying to decide which tv to buy, my choices are a phllips 47" lcd 1080p tv for $1500. seen here. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5633686

or a sony bravia 46" lcd 1080p tv for $2000. seen here. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8442839&st=sony+bravia+46%22+lcd+1080p&lp=2&type=product&cp=1&id=1183160363864

what do you think, also can somebody tell me why the sony is more expensive. thanks

  2. Sony is more expensive because you're paying for the brand name Sony. Samsung is a little bit like that too. The best way to shop for a TV really is just to go to a store and compare them with your own eyes.

  3. No doubt sony is the way to go, even If it is ONE inch smaller..

    Sony makes extremely high quality televisions that won’t’ let you down…I simply love sony…you have a safe bet with them..

    your best bet would be to go in and look at the tv's

    personally i think samsung is the best around right now.. there 46" lcd's look really good!!
