Trying to determine the type Ivers Johnson Revolver I have?

In Texas, getting old iron disc and things out of the field, we had to dig one plow out of the ground. when we did, we found an old Ivers Johnson Pistol Revolver. It's pretty rusted, but the wood handle is still good. It has 6 numbers on it. The first is either an 8 or H, the 2nd is a 6, can't see the middle one. The last 3 is 514. Any help in helping me find out what it is. I believe it may have some history behind it.

  1. Iver Johnson revolvers have been around since 1892 or '93 and were known as Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works in 1894.  They made medium size break-top revolvers in small to medium bore that were very reasonably priced.  There is limited collector's interest in these revolvers and these must be pristine to command any kind of premium.  Sound like you have a nice wall-hanger.  Just clean it up and put it up some place.
