I'm trying to find a western romance novel I had some time ago, but have lost. It is about a rancher that needs a wife, so puts an ad out for one. They get married and she has to prove to him that she can cut it as a ranch wife. The parts I can remember include her having to kill a chicken for dinner to prove to him how tuff she is and then afterwards he tries to get her to go to bed with him and she tells him "No woman wants to make love to a man when she's still thinking how funny it would have been if he'd have choked on a chicken bone." Later when he still hasn't realized that he loves her, she moves into town and gets a job as a waitress until he comes and confesses his love for her. Does anyone know what this book is or who the author is? It isn't very long, and I'm pretty sure it was a Harlequin. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really want to get another copy of this book. Thanks for your help!
