  1. Think Royal Carrib has it:, a three day out of San Diego to Baja

  2. You have a couple of cruise choices in that time frame from either San Diego or Los Angeles.  Carnival and Royal Caribbean both have 3 to 5 day cruises leaving at that time of year.

  3. March 20th is a Thursday.  March 25th is a Tuesday.  This makes the three night weekend cruises that leave on Friday and return on Monday a very good choice.  There are two, and both leave from Los Angeles.

    1)  The Carnival Paradise leaves from the Long Beach dock on Friday afternoon and goes to Ensenada on Saturday.  It spends Sunday at sea and returns to the Long Beach dock on Monday morning.

    2)  The Monarch of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) leaves from the San Pedro dock on Friday afternoon and goes to Ensenada on Saturday.  It spends Sunday at sea and returns to the San Pedro dock on Monday morning.

Yes, both ships are docked next to each other in Ensenada.

I was just on the Monarch of the Seas in mid December 2007 and will do the same cruise on the Carnival Paradise in early July 2008.  Here is a link to my review of my December cruise on the Monarch of the Seas (if you want to read it) ...

Unfortunately these are your only two choices.  The only other short cruise choice out of California is the Carnival Elation which leaves on March 17 (too early) and again on March 22, returning on March 27 (too late).  All the other ships in California do one week or longer cruises and you don't have that much time.

  4. These are your only two options:

    Carnival, Carnival Paradise

Royal Caribbean, Monarch of the Seas

Personally, I'm not a fan of the super short cruises, but have fun!
