  1. 4'9"? That's a tough one. Here's a list from Total Motorcycle:

It's all cruisers until you get up to 31" or so. You can drop a few inches on some bikes with mods to the suspension, but the oil pan and exhaust pretty much limit how low you can get them. The Ninja 500 works for some of the short girls I've ridden with, but I don't know that any were under 5'

  2. About the same as my wife. She can stand tiptoe on a 750 Shadow but that ain't good enough to drive it. Ride? Yes. She needs a Rebel or something in that category. They have seat heights around 26-27 inches. The width of the seat needs to be considered too. The wider the seat the shorter it makes your legs. I'd imagine after everything is said and done you'll need to wear thick soled boots and either adjust the shifter or have something made like the bigger bikes have so you can up-shift with your heel. My foot and boot gets hung sometimes under the shifter so that's is MY next project.

  3. usual suspects: Buell Blast, Honda Rebel, Kawasaki Vulcan 500

PS: would help to kno seat heigth of KZ550

    or ur inseam

I know a lady about your height who bought a 500cc Vulcan as a first bike and eventually rode it from Texas to Michigan (and back).

  5. Stanly's right...and you are right on to get the right bike...it's VERY dangerous to not be able to 'put the landing gear down' when you need to....i'd even go so far as to suggest you sit on the KZ and put 2x4's under your feet until you're comfy.  Then measure the seat height minus the block height....at least then you've got a number to shop for...

  6. Kawasaki 250 Ninja (EX250)

    Seat height approx 29"

The seat height can be lowered another 3" with suspension lowering kits.

  7. The cruiser-styled bikes are generally lower than most.

There is a web site that specializes in recording modifications on bikes for short riders.  There may be some ideas, there.  I just do not believe that an unmodifed bike will do.
