  1. get a bird

  2. my friend used to have a naked mole rat

  3. a bat

  4. dwarf hamsters are really cute but I don't know anything about them. I'm sure you could look info up online tho'

  5. Well, guinea pigs are fun, along with chinchillas and rabbits. Ferrets are super fun but i think they need room to run around in.

  6. If you have a small cage, the three choices you nixed are really the only ones you have.

Animals like rats, chinchillas, rabbits, and other rodents cannot live in a small cage.

  7. Have you tried online dating?  There's lots of unusual rodents there.

  8. If you have a small cage then your choices are limited.  Your best bet would be a mouse, hamster, or gerbil.  All the other rodents are larger than that.

  9. ferrets!!! there cute lovable and they really bond with there owner.

  10. a degu?

  11. yeah, try buying one from brazil cause there are no exotic rodents in america

  12. Get a dwarf hamster, or just a normal hamster. They don't need too much room as long as they're by themselves.

Even though dwarf hamsters should live in pairs because they like to be around other hamsters.

And they don't like to be cuddled.

So you should get maybe a teddy bear hamster if you want to hold it.

  13. i would go with a gerbil they are soo cute and so cheap.

  14. how bout a pet ant...the truth is, if you cant afford the cage, you cant afford the animal!!!, putting a rodent in a cage that small would be torcher, which is why i have left you with 2 choices, an barbie toy or a pebble:^)Some people just can t handle the truth!

  15. a rat!

  16. chinchila

  17. what about a hedgehog

  18. There's not really a rodent that's small enough to put in a hamster cage that's not a hamster, gerbil, or mouse.  If there is, it will be exotic and extremely hard to find, and probably wouldn't  make a good house pet.

If the cage is really the limiting factor, then you'll have to go with one of those.

You could always try for a lizard or something, if you want to be different, but they definitely require more maintenance than a rodent (what with live food, heat lamps, and all).  For something more easy, (but not easily playable) you could go for a fiddle crab.  They're like fish care-wise, but way cooler.

    Hope that helps!

  19. ferret
