Trying to find a song I heard on the radio.?

Question

I heard this song on a party radio station. I do know it is a 70's song, but the thing is, in the middle of the song, some rapper starts rapping and it sounds really cool. The song's beat is very similar to the M.I.B. 1 theme song and some chick sings it. I'm still looking through my CD's in hopes I can find the name, but so far, no luck....Its a soul classic, but It's got that rapper throwing it down in the middle of the track. Anybody know what I'm talking about? I
