Trying to find a song I heard on the radio?

About five years ago, I heard a song on the radio that was really awesome. If I remember correctly, the lead vocal was by a woman. It was fairly heavy. The chorus was something like, "I've been waiting..." "I've been holding on..." "But there's just one thing about me that you should know..."

That's the best I can remember it. Can anyone help me find this song?
