Trying to find a song i hered on the radio?

i cant figure out the band.. ok i know one thing on every end of the lyric it would either say dry your teardrops but something like that i know it had tear drops at the end, it sounds like the a guy who is ending a relationship with a girl and moving on. cause it never really worked out. thats all i can remember
