help! I`am looking for an affordable childcare facility with everything going up such as bills and even food. it is hard trying to find affordable childcare. i have gone to get help from department of social services. But I got turn down due to my gross of income. They said that i made to mucj money which i really disagree. If people only knew we we have to go thru now that the economy has gone sky high. I am getting so frustrated with anything that is happening to me.

I don`t think i will ever get my child in childcare.

What should i do!

  1. a local church....that always works

  2. you can go to the net and find out by searching. there are ways with child care.org or childcare.com or just listing that type of stuff and the state and stuff like that you can find it but i doubt will be cheap or you can maybe have someone baby sit at the hosue but becareufl cuase there are so many out there whom you cna't trust with your kids.

  3. Try going to a home child care.

  4. if you are to find a lapetite academy in the area take your child there immediatley ists the best place!

  5. a lot of church run, non-registered daycares are cheaper than registered centers or home based. Most churches allow everyone to attend and do not push their religion onto the kids, they are just looking for a little extra income for the church.  But other than that, childcare is pretty consistent in price across the board b/c they have many expenses and daycare staff need to be paid too.

  6. I know in the Chicago area is an org.  called Day Care Action Council. They help to pay for daycare in according with your income, also they give to you a list of day-cares (centers or at home). Their income  guidelines are different from the public social services.
