My daughter flew London on Sunday June 29th. She sent us a message to let us know her plan landed safely. She was to meet a friend there and shuttle to Newcastle UponTyne, Northumberland. No word from her. She has an international cellphone. No answer. Traveled with her lap top. E-mails, messages to "facebook" and "myspace" unanswered. No answers from her friend either. Anyone from the area that can help us?

  1. My prayers and good wishes are with you.

Is her cellphone in YOUR name? If so, contact the cellphone provider and see if there has been any activity on the phone in the past two days.

Do you have the friend's name or address? You could contact the police in that area and alert them.

    Is she a minor?

  2. well if u are really worried about her and think something happened u should fly over there. it would be way eaiser to tell the police and if that friend lives there u can contact her family to see if they have any news of where they are.  hope u find her! :)

  3. i think u should contact the police

    just to be safe

  4. get onto the Police quickly, either at your end or here in the UK ... in Newcastle it's

they will be able to do things like contact her mobile phone provider and track whether she's used it or not and, if so, from what location

they would also be able to call on whoever she was visiting (or was she staying in a hotel)

there may well be a perfectly innocent explanation for this, like she's having too much of a good time to bother with things like phone calls and internet, or she's jet-lagged and sleeping it off, but you need to make sure and the sooner you alert the authorities the better

  5. which london in ontario or uk
