type the certifying organization (PADI) or the other one, what is it, NAWI?? into Google.... there should be contact info there to get what you need.

There are two ways to find it.

1/ Look on the back of your C card. It's right there.

2/ No card? Stop in the dive shop you certified with or go to a local dive shop that caters to the agency you certified with (PADI, NAUI, BSAC, IANTD or whoever it was) . Bring some ID with you. Ask them to look up your number. If you know your certifying shop,that will be a bonus. That will be enough for them to look it up through their shop account. They won't charge you for this service. You WILL get charged a small fee for a replacement card, if you've lost it, however.

Check on your dive certification - it says "student number"  = certification number.

As long you are not a dive professionel, your student / certification number always changes.
