Trying to find out where I can buy a Hex board game set?

Hi there,

There is a board game called 'Hex'. It's referred to in 'A Beautiful Mind' the movie. I can't seem to find anywhere online where you can buy a board and would love some help.

Unfortuantely, I do not believe the game is in production. It originally came out in 1942. However, you can play it online. I suggest keeping an eye on ebay for a used copy.

I thought that game was Go... only seeing it in the movie... but apparently the book explains the game to be Hex? This site has an online version of Hex [sorry I know it's a google site... ;P ]

Looking at the BoardGameGeek.com entry, it appears that Hex is not widely available as a commercially produced board. AT any rate, this thread has some information about available boards, though you would be importing instead of purchasing domestically.

At the BoardGameGeek.com entry, there are some printable boards that you can use to play the game before you take the plunge in buying a commercially-made Hex board.
