Trying to find the title of a teen book i used to read?

Question

The book is about a boy whose family moves to Florida, and his new school get a sinkhole, and he moves schools. A sub plot is that his brother is a thief, and at the end of the book you find out something about his eyes, and the reason he wears glasses.

Tangerine by Edward Bloor. I know for sure.

It's a great book. I didn't like it the first time I read it, but as I got older I grew to think that it's an amazing story about overcoming disabilities, including your own family.
