ok, I'm 28 years old, I work full-time and I'm a full time mom so I don't really have time to go out. My 24 year old cousin wants to go out but I don't have any idea where to go. She like clubs like Chrome but that place is just too ghetto and there are too many "kids" that go there for me. I want to go to a club where she and I both feel comfortable. We both like hip-hop; no country or "taco hat" clubs (ugh).... I want to go somewhere where there are mature people and also good dancing music. Help me with some ideas

  1. Having grown up in Dallas and worked in throughout "the Metroplex", I can tell you (as you may already know) that there are a LOT of clubs in the D/FW area to try out.  I can say that it has been a few years since I've moved out of that area, but I do remember liking some of the restaurant/clubs over in Ft. Worth along the Trinity River near the jogging trails over near those big parks (I want to call one of them "Botanical Gardens" but I'm not sure if I'm remembering the names correctly with the park.  I want to say it's near University Drive as you go through Ft. Worth in the down town region.  Not knowing where you live, I can only say that if you're coming from the Dallas direction on I-30 and continue on through the city area and then find the exit "University Drive" or "University Blvd." and exit there and go to your right, you'll go right between the parks, one of which I remember being called "Botanical Gardens" if I've got my names and parks together right, and the other one, which will be on your right, I want to call Trinity Park, but I'm not sure, and if you go out on the jogging trail, heading in a northerly direction, or to your left as you head into the park, you'll see the places I'm talking about across the river.  I know my directions are bad but I left that area about 9 or 10 years ago, and it was so easy for me to find those parks that I only gave glancing attention to street names.  Sorry.  They're very popular restaurants / clubs, or were when I was there, and so I bet they're good now.  Have fun.  God Bless you.
