Trying to get Yahoo Launchcast Radio to work without "error" coming up. What is the best codec to download?

I am trying to get my Yahoo Lauchcast Radio to tune in, but always pops up "error". I have downloaded a Windows Media Player 11, but would really like to delete Windows Media Player from my Microsoft Windows Vista but can't. So I can't start all over. So now I am looking for a codec to download for my Lauchcast Radio. Any codec suggestions? What do you use to get internet radio?

Pops up what error code?  The codec that comes with WMP 11 is fine.  Get the error code and submit a problem to Yahoo! Customer Care.
