  1. gee! you got my suggestion about the essay!

welll. i suppose you can have mine... fill in who is going to take care of it in the away part. what you do is before you go to bed, say in your im your little sweet child voice,  i made this for you, daddy/mommy. hand them that, then yawn. they will probably leave the room. the next morning, hopefully they will tell you youre allowed. it worked for me!  here's the essay anyhow.

    Hamsters in General- Research

Hamsters are easy to care for. Their lifespan is approximately 1000 days, 2-4 years. They are cheap pets and love to play! They do not need to be bathed, and not even brushed. They can ear, and smell well and therefore are very alert. They like to be handled and scramble around, so with a multiple level home it would never be bored. Hamsters are often judged as dumb animals, but they can be taught out of habits and taught tricks. They are also very curious and love to explore. They do not carry any harmful diseases and are safe, clean pets. Their care is minimal, but the fun you can have with them is unlimited!

    Cost of a hamster

    Food- $10 per year

    Toys/Treats-$15

    Cage-$45 (Lifetime)

    Cage Accessories- $10 (Lifetime)

    Bedding- $30 per year

    Hamster- $10

    Away

FILL IN A FRIEND OR SOMEONE WHO WILL TAKE CARE OF IT WHEN YOU LEAVE!!

    Hamster of choice

The longhair Syrian is a large hamster that enjoys being cuddled, unlike other species. They are continually grooming their selves and do not smell.  They do not move as fast as other breeds so it would be much easier to handle them. Longhair Syrians are known for being sweet, friendly, and patient. Once they get to know you, they will enjoy your presence and won’t bite. They are also solitary so we wouldn’t have to purchase multiple hamsters to keep them happy.

    Why?

A hamster is a simple and very fun pet to care for, while playing with it and caring for it are easy and amusing. The cost of them is very cheap, so I will easily cover it by myself. The responsibility I’ve gotten from doing chores is needed here, and with a hamster, it is another level of responsibility. They are friendly, forgiving, smart, happy, and active. A hamster would promote dedication- even more than taking care of plants and doing chores. I would be taking care of a live being. A hamster would give us something to do and something to care for that we can play with at the same time. A hamster would show affection towards the owners and give the owners respect and open- heartedness towards it. If we cared for a hamster, it would give me a sense of responsibility, sensitivity towards other beings, kindness, and independence. Hamsters are truly easy pets, and what they give back is more than what you pay for.

    Concerns

    Making noise at night-

The most sound they make is shuffling around. The myth that hamsters squek is not true- they do not make any sort of noise. Silent wheels can also be purchased so their wouldn’t be the noise of the wheel. Earplugs are always and option, but I don’t believe I should need them.

    Odor-

Hamsters are extremely clean animals, therefore they do not smell, and with the proper care I will give it his cage would only give minimal odors. These odors don’t bother me and I wouldn’t mind them.

    Cleaning-

I will clean the whole cage every week. I will discard the old shavings, rinse it with warm water, baking soda and soap, and replace the shavings so that my hamsters could be at it’s healthiest. The process is quite quick and the supplies needed for it are minimal.

    Playtime-

Hamsters do not require a lot of attention, so with half an hour or so in the evenings and a few minutes in the morning, the hamster would be completely fine. As long as it has toys with it, it would be amused overnight.

  2. The thing your dad fails to realize is that unless you are given the chance to be responsible for an animal then it will never be known if you are. Ask him if there is anything you can do or anyway you can show him that you are responsible and willing to take care of everything that has to do with the hamster. Tell him that unless you are given the chance to prove yourself then he will never know what you are capable of. Hamsters are harder than fish and easier than cats to take care of, make him aware of how much you will do and how he will not be responsible for any of it. Tell him if you end up not taking care of the hamster properly - like forgetting to feed it or clean the cage after more than 2-3 weeks (just of cleaning the cage not food) then he can take it to an animal shelter.

  3. man you bought a cage and ball but he wont let you get the hamster that sucks try asking your mom

  4. try convincing your dad what good a hamster would do for u
