  1. The best thing you can do, coming from a coach and player of many years, is attend volleyball camps.  Decide what position you want to play and then work at it.  Nothing comes easy.

  2. if you are just abit like me, you are very competitive and get mad when you make a bad pass/hit. i do too! i just learned to keep the anger ont he inside. dont let it show ..just tell yourself you'll get the next one and forget about the last ball. once the ball comes over the net...call it and go for it. dive, sprawl, do whatever it takes but make sure you get to the ball! when you want the ball call it, really loud. just get in a habut. nothing comes easy. try some volleyball camps in your area or far away.

    good luck

    hope this helps

  3. For your madness issue, I don't think it is anything bad. It is more of a competitive nature that drives you "nuts", and I don't believe you would need special training such as "anger management". My advice is, when you are mad, don't keep it to yourself, yell it out and it could even help you call the ball. Of course you don't want to throw any attitude to your teammate anyway.

Hustling is more difficult to do than to say. You need to be mentally prepared, and you need good footwork. Diving and rolling are what you want to do in the last second, but footwork is something you want to practice everyday, and you want to move as much as possible before you dive. Playing more games would help you develop that kind of reaction.

Calling the ball really starts with your confidence of taking over the responsibility. If you think you are too young on the team to do "all that", you will tend to keep yourself quiet. By the time you think you ARE the one, you will become louder... so don't worry too much about it.

  4. lol srry idk how to help with the 'gettin mad' thing, but its probably cuhs your really competitive. theres this girl and she super competitive but she relly nice and she can get soo mad if she loses. so i think your just competitive =]

the hustling; conditionn!! run like 5 laps a day. one time my coach made the whole team do ladders & 10 suicides in a row at the same practice!! lol but i really got much faster and better after all that running!! maybe you should try running, suicides, lunges, wall sits, anything that helps with your legs.

calling the ball; idk if you mean calling as in saying that the ball is yours (i got it!, mine!!) or if your mean like what the hit is (short, free, out) but just think everytime you see the ball go over the net, get ready!! if it comes to you, just think before u hit it, shout that its yours. or if the ball is short, out; just call it (if you do it enough itll be kinda automatic to you)

well i hope i helped!! good luck!!!!!! =]]
