Trying to get tv screen hooked up to computer?

I have a vizio tv. I was told to use a s video cable to do so, but it will hook into my tv but not my computer, only spots that it looks like it even will go into is the mouse and keyboard.

You need to make sure that your TV has an S-Video input, and that your computer has an S-Video input. Most TV's have S-Video inputs, and most computers have S-Video outputs. The output is the signal that it is coming from, and the input is the signal that it is going to.

You have to get a Tv, Computer Transfer Table and you can find that Cable on E-Bay for a decent price, just type in the search box tv to Computer Cable and it will bring them up.

Get a cable that can connect to both.

ex. DVI to HDMI (m/m)

Find out what type of connections you have on both and find a cable online that has both connectors. Your PC is either going to be VGA (roundish trapezoid) of DVI (rectangle).
