Trying to go to Germany?

I want to be able to do some sort of transfer program to another country. I'm currently 17 (but will probably be leaving when I'm 18) and I'm not currently in high school (dropped out 2nd semester of Junior year) but I'm planning on starting college soon. Is there a program that I can use to go to another country (anywhere from a month to a year) for either academic or non-academic purposes? I looked at AFS but they don't have anything for ppl over 18 looking to go to Germany, which I'm really interested in. So anyways, if you know any kinda of exchange program please let me know. Thanks.

    Maybe that will help....good luck

  2. many universities have programs that range from 1 month to a year. I went to a small liberal arts college and went to austria for a year through a independent program through my university, I would check and see what your perspective schools have to offer.

  3. If you decide to go to Germany then you need to have a good look at exactly where you want to go. Not sure if you know this but the school systems and content is different amongst the different States in Germany. Its hardest to make it thru schools in Bavaria and a lot easier in Hessen. You need to check that out!
