  1. The link isn't directing me for some reason (it's okay I found it elsewhere). So here's some advice, regardless of where you want to go. There will be drinking and drugs at whatever school you go to, and sometimes at boarding school it is more serious than what it is in private or public day schools. This really isn't something to fret about, because this will be abundant almost anywhere you go. I would be somewhat cautious towards a single s*x boarding school, as this is extremely different from co-ed in more ways than you think. It may even become unpleasant and annoying. But if you're sure you want to go to an all-girls school than you should go to an all-girls school.

You mentioned you had great grades and so I'm guessing you will be applying for financial aid of some kind, and this should take care of some or even most of the costs. But financial aid also requires that you keep immaculate grades during your time at their school, something to remember.

You mentioned Linden Hall (tuition $36,800), and even though it is the oldest all-girls school in the U.S., I'm afraid it is rather unknown. It's always better to go to an established school than it is to an unknown school. For example, Miss Porter's School (tuition $41,100) in Connecticut, has an established alumni and this will most definitely help you down the road. It shows a great deal when a school has a diverse and successful group of alumni. It really isn't wise to spend upwards of $40,000 a year to go to a school that has a good curriculum and that's that. Make sure its an established and well-known school with a solid group of alumni and the cost will be well worth it. Best of luck.
